Professor Kyung Jin CHA is a faculty member of School of Business at Hanyang University. She is currently in charge of the MBA program - MIS track at Hanyang University. In addition, she is also serving as a member of the Big Data advisory board at various Korean government agencies such as the National Police Agency and the Gyeonggi province office etc.

She has authored more than 30 articles in leading academic journals such as Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Enterprise Information Systems, Mobile Information Systems, Information & Development, Management Decision, Symmetry, Journal of Intelligence Information Systems, Information Systems Review, and so on. Furthermore, she is editor of Journal Society for e-Business Studies, Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Review.

Field of study: MIS - BigData Analytics

Research interests: Data science, machine learning, information security, smartwork and ICT4D

Connection with Australia: Prof. Cha received a Bachelor of Information Systems with First Class Honours (2006) from University of Tasmania, a Ph.D. in Business Information Systems from The Australian National University (ANU).
