Mr Jongho Kim (University of Newcastle) - Engineering - Chemical Engineering

Mr Jongho Kim received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pusan National University in 2018 and is a PhD student at the Department of Chemical Engineering, the University of Newcastle (UON). He is a member of the International Collaborative Centre for Carbon Futures (ICCCF) at UON. He has a strong track record in the field of clean energy generation and already contributed to a couple of research projects relating coal combustion funded by Australian Coal Research Limited. His research work also includes clean hydrogen energy generation, which has the potential to contribute significantly to the development of clean energy technologies in Korea and Australia. He has published 5 peer-reviewed research papers in Energy & Fuel, Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, and Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology and participated in composing project reports while carrying out the research projects.
